Why worskspaceID is different in Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics app

I installed 'Power BI Premium Capacity Metrics' app and observed that the workspaceID values are diifferent from what I see in the URL when we click the workspace ( same appers in my audit log export file). I am trying to join those in Power BI Metrics app and the audit log file by workspaceID and I found that both are different. Why is it so?

Hi there

I would expect the WorkspaceID to remain the same.

Does the ID change when you click on the Premium Workspace?

@GilbertQ what do you mean the ID change?.

 

when i click on the  premium workspace, in the url it shows workspaceID. It shows same value always... and this value is diiferent in 'Power BI Premium Capacity Merics' app  report for the corresponding workspace.  Infact all the workspaceIDs are different for all workspaces.

Hi there

That is rather unusual that the ID's are different. I would expect them to be the same. I would suggest logging a support call to see why they are different.
