Why there is no cross highlight of Data in Stacked Area chart, While its working in Staked Col chart

When i'am using customized Legends with Matrix chart, It is cross highlighting the Data in Stacked column chart but its not working in Stacked Area chart.

Example- Table-1 Image(Stacked Area chart)

                Table-2 Image(Stacked Column chart)

Some of the visuals don't support cross highlighting, it is by design.

Please take a look at the document about cross filtering and cross highlighting.
