Why "Share Dashboard" fail when "Allow recipients to share your dashboard" is NOT checked?

I created one Dashboard in Power BI. When I am trying to share it with team members, email communication to share the dashboard failed/worked in the following scenarios

- Works: If "Allow recipients to share your dashboard" is checked

- Fails: If "Allow recipients to share your dashboard" is NOT checked

@teavch do you still have this problem? we have shared quite a few times internally and never had any issues.

I just had the same problem. 

The shared DashBoard only orked after I unchecked "allow to share with others".
