Why is scheduled refreshes more time then it used to take earlier 4-5 days back?ed

Hi Every one.

My structure

Currently we are using Power Bi Pro license . We are using Microsft navision ERP to input data, i see that data in SQL Server as the datebase size and transaction frequecy is ver much , I create SQL queries and only crunched and required data in Power BI using sql Query.

Generally my schedule refreshes at night when frequeny of transaction are less.

Now my question is  before 2-3 days all queries ans refreshed were working fine, suddenly refreshed are taking more than 45 min which earlier was 10 min?   Where as in desktop it is taking less time.

Similar problem happening many reports which are from different DB

Can some one please help me in this

Hi @GAURAV7781 ,

Is there a difference between the duration of a manual refresh and a scheduled refresh?

If there are few differences, you need to consider optimizing the performance of the report.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/power-bi-optimization

https://www.blue-granite.com/blog/power-bi-performance-optimization

If there is a big difference, this issue has not been fixed yet, and the scheduled refresh will be delayed by about half an hour relative to the expected time.

You can consider using the Data Refresh APIs in the Power BI Service.

Best Regards,
Liang

Pro license means you are sharing a capacity with many other customers. Their behavior can impact your performance.

No i am  not  sharing any capacity, all my users are from same company and do not refreshed report by theier own, Only allowed to used to report after scheduled refresh

Unless you are on a Premium SKU you are sharing capacity.
