Why do I get this error when refreshing a Dataset?

I have recently added a dataset which I then removed as it was for testing. After reworking and reuploading, I am now getting this error message when i try to refresh the dataset. How do I resolve this?

Oops, something went wrong.

An error occurred while processing the data in the dataset.

Have you tried renaming your dataset to something else and then uploading? Long shot but might get you around this if something is cached. Is this an Excel file or PBIX file that you are uploading or are you using the data sources in the Service directly and what is the original source, DB, CSV, ?

Your best bet may be to send a "frowny face" when in the Service. It is the smiley face icon in the upper right. It allows you to describe the problem and take a screen shot. I have had VERY GOOD success when using this feedback mechanism. I generally receive a very timely reply from the support team.

Hi,

Its a PBIX which contain a couple of SQL queries, so nothing to complicated. I have managed to update the datasource name, but again the same issue.

I suspect its a caching issue as you manetioned, so i'll send the frown and see what comes back.
