Solved: What is the use of gateway?

Hi all,

I am a bit unaware about the use of personal gateways in data refresh. Do we necessarily need a personal gateway for scheduled data refreshes?

AFAIK, schedule refresh works on both two mode gateways. You can refer to below link to know more about these modes:
