Hi,
I am managing a premium workspace which contains 70+dataset and 100+df.
Each of these guys are scheduled to be run at different time.
I want to run a query that tells me the refresh schedule time by all the workspace components (both DF and dataset).
Is there anything in Power BI Rest API that currently does that?
Purpose- I want to spread out these guys to different time slots to better manage the capacity.
Thank you in advance.
Hi @smpa01 ,
Does your problem have been solved? Based on my test, I could follow Dataflows - Update Refresh Schedule to set up scheduled refresh for dataflow.
If it is solved, please mark a reply which is helpful to you.
Best Regards,
Winniz
@v-kkf-msft not reolved yet. Looking into options to write a PowerShell script to see if I can solve it, will keep this thread open for now till I find something..will update if and when I find a way out.
Hey @smpa01 ,
sure, you should use the Get Refresh Schedule API request and loop over all workspaces and datasets:
Datasets - Get Refresh Schedule - REST API (Power BI Power BI REST APIs) | Microsoft Docs
@selimovdthanks, anything for DF?
Hey @smpa01 ,
I'm afraid that's not possible at the moment.
There is another post 2 months ago, where someone had the same issue. But they didn't post solution:
Get Dataflow Refresh Schedule from Power BI REST A... - Microsoft Power BI Community
Otherwise I would have proposed to try the dataflow REST API, but this doesn't seem to work:
Dataflows - Update Refresh Schedule - REST API (Power BI Power BI REST APIs) | Microsoft Docs
I try to ask in my network, but I'm afraid that might not be possible at the moment.
