Hi Team,
I am trying to figure out the IP address that Power BI uses to pull the data from the Azure SQL database. This was the question raised by our Azure SQL admin to whitelist the IP address that Power uses so that the data is transferred between the systems without any error.
I am not aware of any such technicality related to the connector. Seeking your help.

The IP address of Power BI Service can be different each time within each region as Power BI Service is a cloud-based service. You can download Microsoft Azure Datacenter IP Ranges and add required IP range based on your region in your firewall rule.
However, the IP range list is updated weekly, you would need to monitor it and make appropriate changes in your firewall rule.
Another method is to take advantage of gateway as described in this blog.

Are you using On-Premises gateway with your PowerBI report or how is your dataset trying to connect with Azure SQL database?
Azure IP ranges are varied and there is no fixed IP ranges but you can view it based on regions from here:
