I have published my dashboard to Power BI Online and scheduled a daily refresh.
However, while it refreshes in Power BI Desktop, the scheduled refreshes fail on Power BI online.
All sources in the Dashboard are from a Web Source through Quickbase (Example Below)
Whenever I try to execute a refresh I get the following message:
Message The column 'Assignments' of the table wasn't found. Table: Engagements.
Cluster URI WABI-WEST-US-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activity ID ca7066c7-de24-4a29-88c0-c3ba5fca79a9
Request ID 5a92a353-2efe-b4b7-9b3a-6bd08b6a3838
Time 2017-12-07 18:42:43Z
The message often refrerences a different column/table, but it is always the first column in said table making me think that there is an issue pulling in any of the columns and that the column mentioned is just the first one triggering the error.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Hi @lelandm,
Please take a refer to below link which has the similar issue:
Expression.Error: The column '<ColumnTitle>' of the table wasn't found

Thank you Xiaoxin,
However, unfortunately the solution your referenced did not solve the issue. It makes sense as to why removing the reference of the "column = #" would work to solve a data refresh issue on Power BI Desktop.
I removed the references, in the advanced editors for each query. However, the issue persists.
I am able to refresh in PBI Desktop perfectly fine, the scheduled refreshes are just failing in the online report that I published.
Hi @lelandm,
Do you use custom function or query parameter in query editor?
If this is a case, current power bi service not support custom function and query parameters.

Xiaoxin Sheng
