Starting today "We couldn't retrieve the data model for this report" shows on all visuals for all reports.  Any thoughts on what may of changed?

What's is your data source? 

Can you re-configure the data source under Gateway, re-publish your .pbix to see if it works? 

If the issue still persists, please capture the Fiddler Trace and create a support ticket.

I started getting that error on Tuesday, and also an error about memory and data size. The same model had been working before late-morning (when PBI desktop updated).

I cannot do any more testing of that data set because I have already removed a lot of the complexity that I had been adding. I just want to add a vote that something changed.
