Using same Slicer Filters on multiple reports in an App

Hi,

We have build an App bundled with 5 different reports each with datasets on its own from a workspace.  The enduser lands on the first report where they see slicers filters on the top, the same set of slicers appears on the rest four reports as well.

Is there a way the filters applied on the first report can be passed on to the rest 4 report ?

Hi @Anonymous

You can use cross report drillthrough functionality to pass parameters from one report to another.

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-cross-report-drill-through

Thanks for the reply. But that is something where user has to right click on the visual object and select on drill through right ? Is it possible to have that UX seemless without end user doing any action apart from applying filter on the first report?

thanks

Hi @Anonymous

Sorry, I don't think there is, but you can add this as an idea here

I think Cross Report Drill through works close to concept but what I am looking for is a Global Parameter feature at the App level so that all datasets filltered by the global parameters. I will add to the idea bank.

Thanks for your time.
