Using PBI to write back data to SPO list via URL query strings?

Has anyone tried using PBI to create a hyperlink in a report and then clicking that link creates a new list item in an SPO list passing along some of the values from the report?

For example, if someone is viewing a report and sees an issue they want to flag for follow up, there could be a URL constructed as a field in the report and if the user clicks on it a new list item in an SPO list could be created passing along the pertinent data.

Maybe something like "Customer Sales Comments" and they scan the PBI report for sales feedback and if they see a comment they like or dislike they could click the URL and it would create a new item in a list on SPO.  Then later they could review that list with the team for discussion, etc...  Maybe the team works that list to follow up with the customer.

Hi @OneWithQuestion,

Based on my research, I am afraid you could not achieve this feature currently, I suggest you submit an idea in ideas forum:

Right, I realize PBI itself does not do that, but I wondered if there was a way to construct the URL so that SharePoint Online would parse the parameters out of the URL and default them into fields on inserting a new record into a list?

Hi @OneWithQuestion,

As far as I known, I am afraid it could not support.
