Hi,
is it possibile to connect directly to an Excel file stored in Microsoft Teams and use it as data source for my reports?
My reports will then be pushished to the Power BI service.
Thank you.
Kind Regards
Marta

Hi Marta,
There is no direct way to access teams files in power BI. To access teams excel files you need to go through sharepoint.
Just copy the link where excel file is present in teams and select sharepoint option.
Please refer below URL for sharepoint connection with Power BI
Thanks,
Rahul

Hi. Well, kind of. If you check your OneDrive for Business you will notice that there is a folder like "Chat files from Teams" or something like that. You can connect to those files directly instead of thinking of getting through teams.
If you find the folder, here you have and example of the connection:

Hope this helps,
Happy to help!
Thank you for your answer, at the moment I'm making some tests with the "Sharepoint folder" connector.
In particular I am looking for a smooth way to have updated data through Power BI Service scheduled updates.
