Usage Metric dataset missing

When I create a usage metrics report from a report in a workspace, i.e.,:

AlanHarmanBox_0-1666091619592.png

When I save the usage metrics report and attempt to view the dataset via:

AlanHarmanBox_1-1666091706694.png

I get the following error:

AlanHarmanBox_2-1666091732559.png

If i view the workspace in lineage view, the usage metrics report has no associated dataset:

All of the appropriate tenant permissions are on:

The docs on learn.microsoft say that a dataset is created:

Where is that dataset and why can't I view it?

Hi @AlanHarman-Box ,

You can find the dataset in the Power BI Desktop.

I did receive the same warning as you, but you can Click Get Data in the Desktop:

Click the Power BI datasets.

You will find the Usage Metrics Model dataset.

Hope this helps you.
