We are having troubles with our Usage Metric Report dataset that isn't updating anymore, what we have done so far:
- Renewed the credentials under settings -> datasets -> Usage Metric Report
- Changed who is the owner of the credentials under settings -> datasets -> Usage Metric Report
- Waited for about 7 days after changing credentials
- Checked admin portal -> tenant settings -> Usage metrics for content creators is enabled
But it doesn't seem like it is retrying any scheduled refreshes
The only error message I can see is this one, but we have already updated credentials as stated above, the current credentials are also used on a premium per user workspace usage metric report without any issues
There is also no error shown under data source crendentials

Please try to toggle the "New usage report off" switch to On.

If it doesn't work, please try to delete the dataset and then create a fresh data refresh report. You can follow the steps in this link:Monitor usage metrics in workspaces (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
