Url filters share

Hi,

I am trying to use feature as url filtering reports, I have few reports in my company where it would be usefull using those URL's in another apllication so that every user could easily get to report with filtered content. 

I create those URL's in this way :

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/... /ReportSection?filter=Project/ProjectCode eq 'ABC' where ABC is Project I would like to show.  

When I use this url everything works good, the problem is that when I send this link to another person in may organization, then power bi services shows this report without any filtering. 

How can I solve this problem

Hi @Marcin,

I'd like to suggest to copy your filter query, after other users locate to the report, let him paste the query after current url.

Power bi report has different urls for different users, I think your issue may related this.

Thank you for suggestion but it doesn't resolve my issue, the question remains :  is it possible to use url filtering to share report with different users ? It there any way to get report url for this case that will be possible to add with filtering expression ? 

I would like to use it as global url for many users.

I think a found the problem,

Someone wrote that ony users with edit permission can use that kind of filtering, I checked that and it seems to be true.
