Update App programmatically

Hey everyone, I have created a program that will publish my pbix file automatically to the AppWorkspace. I now need to figure out how to push those changes from the workspace into the app automatically. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi @JasonAkin,

I now need to figure out how to push those changes from the workspace into the app automatically.

Do you want to publish workspace app via API? Per my knowledge, it is not supported now. If not, please provide more description about your requirement.

Best regards,

Yuliana Gu

The Workspace is already published as an App. I am making changes to existing reports and adding new reports to the workspace and want the changes to get pushed from the workspace into the existing App. I need to accohmplish this progammatically or automated in some way.

What we have done is given access to users to create and edit reports off of the Datasets that are published in an App. We then have them save the pbix to a drop off folder where it is picked up by an automated process and published to the workspace(this also archives a copy with a timestamp to keep track of changes made). We want the changes to be visible in the app without having to go in and manually push those changes over to the app each time as there will be too many reports being updated and added to be able to manually keep up with them all.
