Unpublishing and republishing an app

When unpublishing an app, and then republishing it, if a user has bookmarked the first version, will the URL they have change after i republish?

Of course i would hope the user go to the app section and access it from there, but was just wondering what would happen if any users created a bookmark to the original version.  Would their original link break?

Yes, their original link will not work if you unpublish an app and then republish.

It depends.  If you only unpublish and then republish the app you should get the same app guid. But if you deleted and re-uploaded a dataset in the app then you will definitely get a new dataset guid and as a consequence new report URLs.
