Unified Audit Logging not working properly?

Hi,

 

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the Unified Audit Logs recently?

It seems to be really erratic as to what it brings back.  Some days we get 60,000 plus rows back, run the same script a couple of days later and we only get 10,000.

A version we ran last week has different output for the same day in January to one that was ran in February.

It just seems to be all over the place, and now I'm concerned that the months and months of history I've built up could be inaccurate.

Hi,

 

Thanks for coming back to me.

 

We run a Powershell script that is widely available, monthly to pull down the logs for the last 90 days.  We've noticed irregularities since the start of the year (i.e. the first two weeks of January are completely missing), and have been testing since.  

 

We've now ran the script on three different days (including this morning) of March, and the attached image gives an idea of what we've pulled back on those three runs.
