Come on Microsoft you have known about this issue for a long time now, is anyone working on a fix?
This is an update to my last post, i just tried creating a simple table in BI, a few columns and 15 odd rows of data, when I go to load the data I get the same error, see grab.
I keep getting the same Unexpected Error: Can't load model schema, I have tried many different files types, and turend off my VPN, do anyone know of a solution?
Same here. Will get the error if connected to VPN. Need to disconnect so the error will disappear problem is I can't connect to my source data if disconnected to VPN.
Thanks.

Thank you very much for reading this.
Did you enable VPN on your local machine?
We have seen similar the issue when enabling VPN. This issue has been reported internally, it's still fixing.
Regards,
Same issue here when using VPN. Currently running 2.51.4885.701 64-bit (October 2017), updated to 2.52.4921.581 64-bit (November 2017) and still having the same issue.
Do we have an ETA when this issue will be resolved?
