Hi,
I have created an RDL report using Report Builder and have used OLE DB data source to connect to Azure Analysis Services.
It works when executed on desktop. When uploading the report to Power BI Service it fails with error:
Unable to upload paginated report
Report contains unsupported data source: DataSource2, of type: OLEDB.

Is there a way to use data from Azure Analysis Services?
Thanks for reply.

Petr
Solved! Go to Solution.
hi, @peju
For it is a preview feature, so "More data sources will be coming during the preview period." For your requirement, you could post your idea in Power BI ideas that power bi product team will accept it and make this feature coming sooner.
And as a workaround, you could migrate data to Azure SQL Server during transition period.

Lin
hi, @peju
Currently, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve for now.
Here are the data sources you can connect to for the initial release:

Hi,
is there any plan when and what sources will be available? I mean if I should wait for Azure Analysis Services source or e.g. migrate data to Azure SQL Server during transition period.
Thank you for reply.
Best regards,
Petr
