Unable to refresh Data from an OLAP connection in a workbook embedded in a published app

Hello,

I published an App and added a link with an embedded excel file.

That file's data comes from an OLAP cube connection. When i interact with the timeline filter I get this error message:

2020-05-07 10_30_46-Power BI.png

Any idea ?

Thank you

Hi , @RogerSteinberg

The description is a bit unclear, and I am not sure about the meaning of `` I published an application and added a link with an embedded excel file ''.

Are you referring to the olap connection in excel? Can you briefly describe your creation steps?

(create OLAP cube in Analysis service ->excel get external data  From Analysis Service ->.... Follow-up steps?)

So on power bi service, I published an app to consolidate reports dashboards and what not.

One of the links i added is an excel embedded file from one of my sharepoint folder.

That excel file gets data from a cube (analysis services).
