Unable to filter in Dashboard

I created a report containing filter and need to share my data with users in readonly mode, so far I found only one way to do that - by creating a Dashboard and then sharing it but there are no filters available in dashboard...

What is recommended way to provide users with readonly access to my visualizations (doesn't matter whether that would be a report or dashboard) where the filtering feature will be available?

The only option is to pin the entire report page to the dashboard. Then all filtering and cross-filtering on it will be available.

Did you mean the top right link Pin Live Page

That was exactly how I pinned my report and got the issue I described in this question.

You are doint it right! If the user jumps into the report from your shared dashboard by clicking on the ellipses and then the arrow, he/she can access all the filters in a readonly mode.

in that case there is a possibility to apply filter.
