Unable to connect to a the new app workspace with PBI publisher

Hello,

I tried to create a new app workspace (currently in preview mode). I added some content but did not publish as an app.

However, in Excel in the PBI Publisher add-in, when clicking "Connect to Data" the new workspace does not appear in the list of workspaces to select.

Is this a bug or is this the expected functionality?

I think this issue should more related to excel power bi publisher, this plug-in has not updated for a long time, it may not support newest app workspace.

I'd like to suggest you contact to author team for this issue.

Indeed i did not realize PBI Publisher was not updated since such a long time.

However, i have no idea how to contact them, and anyway it would make more sense that all Microsoft products are aligned and updated to work with one another.

Is there anyway you can let the PBI publisher team know internally?
