Unable to add data source SAP BW server from Power BI Service(web) via on-premise data gateway

Hello Guys,

I need your help in resolving my issue in anyway possible.

I have been trying to add SAP BW server from Power BI service through On-premise data gateway. Please find the below steps followed.

1. Installed On-premise data gateway enterprise version 14.16.6768.3(July 2018) - Done successfully.

2. Placed SAP client tool i.e. SAP Netweaver RFC sdk 7.50

3. Created environmnet variable LD_LIBRARY_PATH which is pointing to SAP Netweaver RFC lib dir.  -- Activated

Data gateway is working fine - Online and connected.

From Power BI service, I am able to manage the gateway which I had installed but could not add data source SAP BW server to it. Please find the below screenshot error I have been getting.

 Error_Power BI.GIF

I have exported logs from gateway and found the below error log:

@singhsandeep,

Do you install 64 bit SAP NetWeaver library on the gateway machine?  Please copy the dll files contained in the SAP NetWeaver library SDK library into the C:\Windows\System32 folder as discussed in this similar thread. Then check if the issue still persists.

Lydia
