Unable to Pin Visualisation to Dashboard

Hello

I'm having an issue trying to pin visualisations to a dashboard from a report that I have not published to the service.  I receive an error message "Sorry can't pin this vizualisation yet please try again".I have admin access to the workspace (new preview workspace) and I can pin visualisations to the same dashboard from reports I have published. All reports have been authored in the Nov 2018 version of Power BI desktop. Bit stuck to what to try out next - hoping someone else may have ideas.  Kind regards and thanks in advance Jo.

@Anonymous Maybe there is a larger issue at play here. @edhans brought up the same issue in this post - https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Service/Unable-to-pin-visualization-to-dashboard/m-p/576779/highlight/false#M58411

I would open an issue on issues.powerbi.com or create a support ticket.

Hi @Seth_C_Bauer thanks for the advice.  I have logged an issue and will update this thread on any findings
