Unable to Connect to Salesforce - Power BI Refresh - Invalid Nonce - Invalid Token

When connecting to Salesforce on PowerBI Refresh, I recieve this error intermittently.

" Failed to update data source credentials: The service returned an invalid token. "

When checking the login history in Salesforce it shows as " Failed : Invalid Nonce "

Any ideas on how we can stop this from happening? We're sometimes able to connect with no errors and other times we get this error.

Hi @michelleferrier I know this reply is very late, but were you able to find a solution? As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supermetrics (which doesn't have PBI as a destination, so you first have to export to Google Sheets and then export to PBI) and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Salesforce connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your Salesforce account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Salesforce fields:

There just select the fields you need. It is also compatible with custom fields and custom objects, so you'll be able to export them through windsor.  Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.

Hi @michelleferrier,

What type of data connector are you test? Can you please share more detailed information about your operation steps?

BTW, have you configure power bi service related requests to the white list? If not, they may be blocked by your database settings.
