URL hyperlink with parameters not working for non-Pro users

I'm creating a set of reports with the functionality to navigate between the reports using URLs. The URLs will pass filter parameters. The reports are published on a Premium App.

The hyperlinks are working appropriately for Pro users. Upon selecting them in desktop or service, the action opens a new browser tab and links to the appropriate report with the intended filter applied. However, for non-Pro users the URL action opens a new tab but displays a prompt that the user does not have access to the content. The non-Pro user is able to go through the App in service and open all reports with no issue. The URL link is not recognizing the content is on a Premium App for some reason. Pro users are not experiencing any issues but non-Pro users get hung up when choosing the URL action.

Is there possible syntax that must be added to the URL string to force it to recognize the content is Premium?

Thanks!

Re: URL hyperlink with parameters not working for non-Pro users

Hi @BUserTG,

If I understand your sceanrio correctly that free user could have access the report in the Premium App but they could not have access to the report throuth the URl with Parameters?

You could have a try with adding the patameters manually at end of the URL of the report you opened in the Premium App to check if you could have access to it.

Re: URL hyperlink with parameters not working for non-Pro users

Thanks for the reply.

The URL parameters are automatically being added to the end of the hyperlink and redirecting to report pages. It works fine for Pro users but non-Pro users get an error saying they don't have access to the report, despite it being Premium content.

I could try manually writing the URL and having a user test it for the sake of knowing. Ultimately, it needs to be able to work by clicking a URL from the report.

Hi @BUserTG,

What does this mean "it needs to be able to work by clicking a URL from the report"?

Actually, if you could have access to the report when you add the parameters at the end of the report URL manully, the free user also could have access the report when click the URL with parameter. The parameter is only used for filter the data.
