Transfer user initiated subscriptions to another user

We have a user X who has subscribed multiple business users to multiple reports. Now X had to leave his role with the organization in very short notice. How do we have someone else, say Y, take over these subscriptions or even see who all have been subscribed to these reports (given that we have admin access to the tenant) without needing to reach Microsoft Support? This is important as business users would be trying to reach out to X with requests to change their subscription settings

Please make sure your user Y has the Power BI pro license and make sure that he is given the owner permission to the workspace and dataset similar to the permissions of user X.
Then user Y would be able to do all the changes as required.

Im not convinced yet on the point you have made with Admin API, Im not sure I fully understand but the documentation says you need tennet level admin to do this. 

The user must have administrator rights (such as Office 365 Global Administrator or Power BI Service Administrator) or authenticate using a service principal. Delegated permissions are supported.

This would not be that ideal when the 365 global admin is not responcible for Power BI Report management.

I don't think this solution works. In my case, me and my colleague both have admin access to the report and workspace and we can't see each other subscriptions. @adityaa did you resolve the issue?

Apologies for the delayed reply, but no. We had to work with the AD team to reinstate X's account, log in as X (not an easy process in a large org) and pull the details of subscriptions. That being said, the newly announced Admin APIs in December should help.

Just need to give the edit permissions of the report to Y, the Y will take over this subscriptions

Requirements

Creating a subscription can be done by:

• Users with a Power BI Pro license
• Users viewing content in a Premium workspace or app may also subscribe to content located there, even without a Power BI Pro license.

You don't need edit permissions to the content (dashboard or report) to create a subscription for yourself, but you must have edit permissions to create one for someone else.

I second this is not the solution, another developer created email subscriptions, however I cant see those same subscriptions because he created them. Overall everyone in our team needs visability to manage these subscriptions. Its even worse when a contractors comes into the organisation because they have this annoying habit of leaving organisations.
