Theme is changed after copying Dashboard

Hi,

The theme of the visual is changed after copying the Dashboard. Underneath 2 visuals, one with the new theme (dashboard) and one which is the original theme (report). How can we change the theme of the visual in the dashboard?

hi, @Anonymous

for dashboard theme, please refer to this document:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-dashboard-themes

If your report is using a different theme from the dashboard theme, you can control whether the visual retains current theme, or uses the dashboard theme to achieve consistency across visuals from various sources. When pinning a tile to a dashboard, to keep the report theme, select Keep current theme. The visual, on the dashboard, will retain the report theme, including transparency settings.

The only time you'll see Tile Theming options is if you created the report in Power BI Desktop, added a report theme, and then published the report to Power BI service.

Hi @v-lili6-msft ,

Thanks for your answer! However I'm still wondering how this works for a visual from a report which is in another workspace than where the exisiting dashboard is?

Kind regards,

Raoul
