The system date shown on PBI service (dashboard) is not similar to the one showing on PBI desktop

Hi there,

I need help for the following.

The Malaysia time is 6.53 PM but the multi-row card visuals published to PBI service (dashboard and report) is showing 10.40 AM which is 8 hours behind.

The date looks fine.

Please advise.

Thank you.

@Anonymous If you go to the Power BI Service and click on the "?" in the upper right and select "About" what is the location your data is stored in? "Your data is stored in"? Does that timezone correspond to the value you see?

Hi @v-yuezhe-msft,

Thank you and it is very useful information.

I did it in power BI desktop and it looked ok but it was not refreshed on the power BI service.

Hi @Seth_C_Bauer,

Good day and thank you for the information.

I have checked and it is showing the local timezone.
