We occasionally get an error like the following. The gateway is fine and this error is limited to specific users only after a period of inactivity:
Last refresh failed: Thu Nov 09 2017 10:28:29 GMT+1100 (AUS Eastern Daylight Time)
The gateway is either offline or could not be reached.Show details
The problem is resolved by logging out and logging in again 1-2 times.
Hi All The gateway keeps switching off weekly and its affectic recurring power automate flows . is there a support team for data gateway i can reach out too .
Have tried everything from updating versions and reboots
It seems the issue has been there for years and it is still happening.
Could you please click show details for the failure refresh task, and provide the detailed info in PBI Service here?

Actually I found out our gateway is not the latest version. I will see if the problem occurs after we upgrade our gateway
When you get such error, could you please check that if the on-premises data gateway service is still Running on your computer?
Please also try to upgrade to the latest version of gateway if you are not using an old one.
