The credentials provided for the Dynamics365BusinessCentral source are invalid.

Hi,

I'm connecting my dataset to multiple sources, including Dynamics BC.

For the reports that only use Dynamics BC I have no problem with the scheduled refresh. For the ones that have other sources such as Excel, SQL or SAP Hana, I have an error on the refresh :

The credentials provided for the Dynamics365BusinessCentral source are invalid. (Source at Dynamics365BusinessCentral.)

Does anyone know how to get this fixed?

Thanks!

Thank you @v-kkf-msft I tried your solution and it didn't work. My expected result is to be able to refresh my data automatically on a schedule.

Hi @mpmsltd ,

It looks like you are using both on-premises and cloud sources in a dataset, please make sure your gateway is configured correctly.

1. Under Gateway Cluster Settings, select Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster > Apply.

2. Add both the cloud data source and the on-premises source to your gateway. Or for the on-premises source, select the gateway associated with this data source, then edit the cloud data source credentials under Data source credentials. Make sure privacy levels for both cloud and on-premises data sources are set appropriately to ensure the joins are handled securely.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.

Best Regards,
Winniz
