Hey, i have report with many data sources (Excel, SQL Database {Import}, Sharepoint List, Calculated Tables, Query Generated Tables). In desktop is everything working well... but when i published into Power BI Service, set credentials, try update... then i receive this msg:

Message: The command has been canceled. Table: DateKey-External.
URI cluster: WABI-NORTH-EUROPE-redirect.analysis.windows.net
ID activity: f2b86f55-ea0e-4dbf-839c-47d16a41a1db
ID request: cc3510be-fe3a-b486-be44-ec7917ea2ebb

Everytime the error is caused by different table. Have you ever this issue like this? Have you please any solution?

Re: The command has been canceled

Hi @Tirnovar ,

1.Can you carry out a manual refreshing in the Power BI Service successfully?

2.If your dataset not only contains cloud data source but also the on premise data source, then it needs to use the gateway and configure schedule refresh, see more: :On-premises data gateway , Configure scheduled refresh .

Note that you also need to select Allow user's cloud data sources to refresh through this gateway cluster option Under Gateway Cluster Settings. See: Merge or append on-premises and cloud data sources.

3.Please try to upgrade the gateway to latest version(if a gateway is used in your scenario)

4.For each data source, check the name of the server and the database, it seems to be case sensitive when deployed to the Power BI Service, but not when using the Power BI Desktop

5.Have you tried removing sources one-by-one to see if you can determine the source that is causing the issue?

Re: The command has been canceled

Hey @v-xicai ,

thank you for your answer.

1) Only working refresh is in Power BI Desktop and then publish it again to Service.

2) We use only Cloud stored data

3) Cause a cloud stored data, we dont use a Gataway

4 + 5) i will try and let you know

Thanks for your advise,

Steve
