The Row Level Security of Calculation Groups in SSAS

I attempted to create the calculation groups in my SSAS model, There are some Row level security in my model already, And I'd like to know whether the Row level security can still work for the measures which using the Calculation Groups ? Since I noticed there is a limitation for the Calculation groups which is : Row level security (RLS) is not supported. Define RLS on tables in the same model, but not on calculation groups themselves (directly or indirectly). How to understand this limitation?

Hi @Anonymous ,

As far as I know, writing a DAX query cannot bypass row level security.

Sounds like any calculation group you create will not respect RLS (directly or indirectly)
