I have a problem with template apps and sample data load.
My application uses the connector with Azure cost, and I cannot use real data as sample data
I loade sample data from an excel file on oneDrive.
To load the data I use a parameter,
* if the value is TEST I load the sample
* if you enter a different value , It connects to Azure and, if the EA and authentication are valid, download the data.
In power BI desktop it works fine and, if you put a false EA value in the parameter it gives an error but never tries to connect with onedrive (as I said before this only does so if the parameter value is TEST)
Now, when I create the template application in PowerBi service and select "Connect your data", it asks me to authenticate to Onedrive even if I don't set the parameter value to TEST. Why?
The question is, As sample data are mandatory, how do I charge the sample data if it is not from an excel file?
Thank you

Hi @SEACHAD ,
There may be a default connect value with OneDrive when you create the Template app, see details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-template-apps-create#create-the-test-template-app.
If you need to change the data source, you can update your App.
