Take over datasets settings without changing configuration

We have two admins on a workspace; the other admin set up the current Datasets Gateway connection settings. I want to change the schedule refresh time without changing any other configuration settings.

The last time I choose "Take over" Capture.PNG the configuration settings were reset. Is there a way I can "Take over" the existing configuration without changing it in the process? Thanks

Hi  @bclrk ,

Does that make sense? If so, kindly mark my answer as a solution to help others having the similar issue and close the case. If not, let me know and I'll try to help you further.

Hey, were you able to get this issue resolved?

I am facing a simillar taking over issue. I am losing the lineage to the power bi dataset(BI Model) when I take over the report dataset settings for the report.

It looks like this before taking over

Before taking overBefore taking over

Once I take over, I lose the lineage hereAfter taking overAfter taking over

It does make sense and thank you for answering my question. However, I would not consider it a solution to the problem of finding "a way I can 'Take over' the existing configuration without changing it in the process".

Hi @bclrk ,

To be safe, you may contact with the admin to change the schedule refresh time.

Best Regards,

Amy
