Hi,
Our user access to workspaces and apps is managed with O365 e-mail contact groups.
So I have a workspace "Test", and a related e-mail group "Power BI workspace - Test" (containing all my users) assigned to the workspace with Contributor rights.
Giving access in this manner appears to work fine in other respects, however, users in this group can not Subscribe others besides themselves to reports. But, if I add the user individually and given them Contributor rights it works fine they can then Subscribe others.
Is this a bug? Or is there another reason for this difference in result?
Thanks,
Tom
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. The point isn't to subscribe them all. I want users in that group to have the right to subscribe people besides themselves.
I am guessing the access check looks for the user ID directly, and not for a group that contains that user.
Regards,
Tom
Hello @tweinlic
Have a look at this document for subscribing email to others

hi @tweinlic
If you want to subscribe them all, try adding the group itself in the subscription list.
Please give kudos (hit the like button) to my answer.
