Streaming Dataset Doubt

Hello guys, whenever you create a streaming dataset in powerbi, you do it by having another dataset uploaded to your powerbi service. what's the whole point of creating a streaming dataset when I can always do schedule refresh every 1 min? I don't know if it's possible to refresh data every 1 min, but if it is possible then why use streaming dataset? please help me understand this, thank you.

Hi @slalithprasad ,

Streaming datasets have limited or no history and just look at the most current values for each field. Because there is no history, there are only a few special purpose tiles for showing streaming data in dashboards.
