Store copy of previous data in dataflow and append new data on it

Hi everyone,

 Suppose I have placed my 1st month data(say data.xlsx) in share point folder and I'm getting that data in power bi by creating dataflow and now at the start if 2nd month I'll replace my 1st month data with 2nd month means that I'll keep single month data in share point which will keep on replacing every month.  Now I want to append the data from start month and then 2,3,4....so on and use in power bi desktop as dataflow ..so what should I do regarding this?

I will keep 1month data at share point folder and at the start of the next month the new data get replaced in the same file name and now how can I store the copy of the externally and append it in the copy of the 1st-month data and this process should be refreshed on a daily basis.

For your case, the best way is get data from folder (share point folder) and set Scheduled refresh for it, do not replace the excel file every time, just name the excel file with yearmonth.

Power bi is just a BI tool, it could only get data but write data, if you still want to do that, you have to do it in datasource with other way.
