Slicers not working in integrated dashboards

I'm trying to integrate dashboards as instructed here:

When I try to integrate a dashboard with slicers and charts I can only see the charts. The slicers are crashing for some reason. This all looks fine in the desktop version and also in the power bi portal.

The error I get is:

"USRACT_StringValueTooLong message:"string value is too long. It has been truncated to 1024 characters.""

I'm not reproduce the issue, slicers can be rendered without problem in an embedded report. Could you share your pbix file to help reproduce the same issue?

This is still an issue with the latest embedding example projects. 

This can easily be recreated by adding a dropdown slicer and embedd it to a dashboard.

Does anyone have any idea when this will be resolved?
