the slicers are working fine in desktop, and in service normally till yesterday. after uploading the report today, i found that it is not showing correctly as below, left side is the desktop, right side is the service

I did some test on my side but didn't get the same situation. Since i can't restore your scenario i'd like to suggest you to try republish the dataset or use another browser and see if it work.
If you have Pro account you could try to open a support ticket. If you have a Pro account it is free. Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".

Hi. This is quite strange. I'm not sure why this could happened. You should try resizing. There isn't another alternative.
