Slicer are highlighted in PBI Desktop but highlights are not shown in PBI Service

Hi ,

I am trying to upload a PBI report in PBI service. In 1 page, a slicer layout is like this

But when I am publishing it in PBI service the slicer color is going to normal and its looking like nothing is selected there.

is it a PBI issue or something else. please help.

Hi @Anonymous,

Is the slicer highlight changing but the data is still properly filtered, or is the selection fully reset?

No. Selection is fine as well as data is filtered properly also. Just the color highlight is going and making the slicer look like nothing is selected. End customer may get confused.

Often there's spacing changes in visuals when they get published to the Service, and that slicer looks a little cramped. Can you run a test on a blank page and increase the slicer's borders a bit? I've had something like this issue before.

Hi @Anonymous

I can reproduce your problem with a customer visual called Enlighten silcer, a workaround is to use a basic slicer in Power BI Desktop.

As i tested, this problem won't happen when use Slicer.

Best regards

Hi @v-juanli-msft,

I am using basic slicer only which comes in-built with Power BI. No custom visual I am using.
