Simple Question: How do I get a value to stop counting?

Hi. I have a simple Excel report that I am trying to visualize in a bar chart. When I drag my "Quantitative Measure" field to Value, I am only given the aggregation choices of Count or Count (Distinct). What do I need to do to get the other options such as Sum or Average?

Thank you!

It sounds like your Quantitative Measure field is tagged as something other than numeric. You need to switch it to a numeric field.
