Show embedded reports in Azure to external users using Embedded license

Hi,

My company wishes to begin to use Power BI. The Company has hundreds of external customers, and we wish to know if is possible and legal for all the external customers to share the same master user, and use only 1 Pro License and 1 Embedded( A1 or A2 ) License? Avoiding all the costs with Premium License.

The external users will share the same master user in Application/Azure, but the Customer Dimension Filter will be passed by URL, to a customer not see data from other external customers in the report.

Is it possible and legal?

Thanks for your help. I read the article and there is a thing that I doesn't understood. Why the ( A SKU ) doesn't allow 'Embed for your organization'? Is it because in the organization each user will have a unique domain user? Just curiosity. 🙂

Hey,

"Embed for your organization" means that the organizational user (someone@yourorganization.atyourdomain) authenticates directly againt the Power BI Service.

This capabilitiy is not licensed with A[x] sku, therefor it's cheaper.

A[x] SKU's based apps are using their own authentication.
