Sharing using the URL

Hi, quick question here?

Before I used to share my report with a link, so everybody with the link can see the report in a browser. the link starts with http s://app.powerbi.com/view?r=...............................

And it was something like a public link because the person with the link doesn't need to sign in, just click and navigate, of couser with some kind of limitations, i.e can't export data. etc.

Now it seems like MS disabled this option? Could someone please confirm?

I've tried now and it is possible.

Select the share arrow near the report. In the bottom right corner will appear the link like : https://app.powerbi.com/groups/etc...

Hi,

Thank you very much for your reply. however with that option the person need to sign in using their account.

Previously you can share the report with everybody.

@sajarac ,

User should have power bi pro license(of course should sign in) when other user share contents with them. The only way to view report in public without login is to use power bi embed code. Click File-> Publis to web and then you can generate an URL like below:

Thank you very mcuh for your response, however, that is the way that I used to share my report. But it seems like MS disabled that option, I can not see it anymore.
