Sharing reports with externals

Hi,

Can we use distribution lists to share with externals (people outside of our tenant)?

Note: Premium Capacity in use then it sounds like there should not be a licence problem to view the content.

Regards,

Karo

Hi  @karo  ,

It is feasible to use Distribution list group
1. Select your own Distribution list‎ group in Groups – Active groups in the Microsoft 365 admin center

2. Select View all and manage members - +Add memebers to add

The documents about admin center can be viewed:

If your report is stored in premium capacity and you are a pro user, you can share the report directly with end-users outside the organization for viewing, so that free users can access this content

Hi @karo

External Users can access your report through the App Workspace. This Thread can explain it.

HI @aj1973 , I am using premium capacity then there is no problem with licences ;). However, I would like to find the best way to share the content with group of people outside of my organization (customers). Distribution lists seem to be the easiest way, but I am wonder if it will work or what are the limitations.

Regards,

karo

@karo

Well it all depends on how you want to share the content with them cutomers. The best way would be to start by publishing the workspace to an App workspace and start from there. here is a short video that can help you
