Sharing of Dashboard under Power BI Pro trial to external domain users

Hello,

I have been using the trial version of Power BI Pro and want to share a dashboard with people who are in other organizations. I have ensured that even they have pro license or at least are using the trial version of Power Bi pro. Still, I'm not able to share the dashboard with them.

I have checked it in the admin portal to see if external sharing is 'enabled' and it is.

This is really frustrating. Please provide a solution.

Hi @abhirajkakani,

The external user needs a Pro account (can't be Pro trail), either has one or be assign one,  or the Dashboard locates in a premium capacity. Please refer to this blog.

Hi,

I even spoke to the MS Support Center and they said that i need to create an app workspace for the same.

I tried that and even then the external users (users outside the domain) cannot be added.

I explicitly asked if the sharing is allowed in Pro Trial and they said Yes.
