Sharing in Free version as of August 2017

This is my second attempt to post this query.

The first has beem "lost" due to DNS server problem.

ArupC posted this proposal on May 5th 2017 : "In my opinion, Microsoft should have restricted sharing to some users (say 5 users like Qliksense cloud) for free Power BI users"

Like many other free user, I do agree that removing the sharing dearly affected the way I am now willing to use PBI and how the Management sees this product.

Is this the direction microsoft is taking? Or are we considering the option to allow free users to share with a limited number of entities?

As it currently stands is that there is no sharing with Power BI Free, both yourself and the person or people you share with would require a Power BI Pro License.

That might well change in the future that is how it is now.
