Sharing dashboards without office 365

I don't have office 365. Can I share my dashboards with others? (The people I share with also don't have office 365)

Hmm, so you are not using group workspaces then? I have seen this behavior with group workspaces where I had to share the dashboard but also add them into the group for the group workspace. You might consider reporting this as an Issue:

Hi @Anonymous,

Yes, you can share your dashboards with others just with your Power BI account(however, they have to sign in to Power BI to see the dashboards). There are also licensing requirements for sharing. Sharing content inside and outside your organization both have the same licensing requirements. Please refer to Share a dashboard and reports with colleagues and others for more details about this.

In addition, there are other ways to share your Power BI dashboards and reports as smoupre mentioned above. See: How should I share Power BI dashboards and reports?

Dear @v-ljerr-msft,

Thank you for your reply. Still I'm unable to share my dashboard. The one I share with have already signed in to Power BI. When I share my dashboard with him, he gets a link to the dashboard via email. But, when he clicks the link, he gets an error message saying "You don't have access to this dashboard". Please help me.

I have shared my dashboards with other, external people. Not sure if they logged in with O365 credentials or just some Microsoft account like a Live, Hotmail or Outlook.com account. You can always share a report using File | Publish to Web in the Service. That creates a secret key sharing URL. So, not super secure but easy.

Dear @Greg_Deckler, Thank you for your reply. I cannot use Publish to web option as the data I use is confidential. The one I share with have already signed in to Power BI. When I share my dashboard with him, he gets a link to the dashboard via email. But, when he clicks the link, he gets an error message saying "You don't have access to this dashboard". We both use free Power BI.
